Meme

Hey guys, this is just kinda for the heck of it. I'm at work now and haven't had any customers for a while so I'm thinking "Heck, why not talk about something random" and then it hit me!

I can think of what I'm about to write today as a realization since it kinda is in a sense. Still very random though. So without further adieu, here's the realization for today...

As the post title suggests, I've realized something about all the memes on the internet (troll faces, etc.). I've realized there are a LOT of people with waaaaay too much time on their hands. You all should read a book yo (or this ^_^)! Right? Ya feel meh? Eh, well anyway, I've noticed with all the millions of memes on the internet nowadays, it is so easy to deviate ever so slightly from something you might be doing online, then BAM!!! Another meme, and another one...and another one. I gotta be careful when I'm on youtube or even now, facebook. I literally feel like the best way to stick to what I'm doing is to wear those things horses were sometimes that blocks their peripheral vision so they can only see forward, haha.

Love pt. I

Yo, everyone.

I hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was very nice and informative/spiritually educational. I'll get into that in another post. For now, I'd like to talk about love just a bit. I will definitely be posting more on this topic later on in life by the way. I've realized over the years that the concept of love is both very complicated and very simple at the same time. I used to think love was just simply when you enjoy being in company with a specific someone.

That's definitely a slice but not the entire pie. Love is more of a feeling than a situation and is pretty hard to put into words. I can definitely tell you what it's not. That's all that stuff you see on TV and such about just lust and infatuation. Yet again that's another slice but love goes a lot deeper than that, my friends. But hey, I'm no love expert. Heck, if I was, I'd be happily married with kids etc. or maybe not -_- who knows. God knows!

Which brings me to the heart of the topic. Since love is so complicated at times, we have an excellent guide that we can follow to understand love and I feel like I understand love a bit more. I'm not quite at the point of mastering the concept but I'm getting there. It's still hard to explain, haha.

Remembrance

Hey y'all. It's been a while.

I wanted this blog to be full of just plain out realizations with nothing else mixed in but I realized that I can't. I guess that's kinda like life in a sense...but I'll save life discussions for another time.

So, after some serious thinking (really, my brain's a little fried now,) I've decided I'll continue doing this blog in spite of how much I involve God in this...I mean, I'm a christian so I should represent Him in everything I do, right? Ya know, this could turn out to be a ministry! I gotta remember that and always keep that in mind.

With that said, I'll be posting more frequently.

Secrets, Secrets...

I tell people all the time (and if you know me, I've surely told you this as well) that I'm the best at keeping secrets because I forget them the next day.

Well, ya see, I happened to realize that my memory's been improving recently so I actually have to keep in mind that I have to keep them a secret. Sorry to those who enjoyed telling me secrets knowing I'd forget them but it's not that way anymore :/ (Lol, I'm like the only person I know that would make having improved memory look like a bad thing : P)

Music

I've been listening to a lot of music lately and now I think I know what kind of music I like for sure. It's basically everything on the smooth side (new and old) with a few exceptions. I try to stay away from mainstream music since it's mostly junk nowadays anyways. In mainstream music (nowadays, at least), people sing about either the profanities of this world or of fame and pride and such. Wait, sorry...most music (since there are a few artists out there still till now trying to do the right thing.)

Anyway, I've realized (a while ago) that listening to music is similar to watching T.V. or movies in the sense that, for a lot of music out there, discretion definitely should be advised. As a funny pastor (that I'll never forget) used to say in a lot of his sermons, "Garbage in, garbage out!"Ya know, I guess this applies to all media. So just consider greatly what you watch and listen to. It'll affect your character in someway whether you want it to or not.

P.S. Just a quick word. I'll be posting a lot of past realizations, since it was because I had so many realizations that I felt that I should make a blog so that I can put it all down. This way, in a sense, it acts as a reminder to me. Either way, I'm sure it'll all come back to me eventually and then on to the blog.

T.G.I.F.

What a nice acronym this is. I honestly thank the good Lord, it's Friday. By the way, I've realized that this phrase is so commonplace, people probably don't consider who's name they're mentioning in it. Seeing this acronym reminds me of another (and most likely more popular) acronym, OM...and I'm sure you know the rest. Man, I hear that everywhere. And I hear just about everyone saying it nowadays :/...well, there's one person I know that uses a very interesting substitute that I think is awesome. Every time she says it, I'm inspired by the cleverness of it.

Anyway, I think people should consider taking that acronym to heart when using it. It has a lot of meaning, after all.

The Beginning

Hey guys. Well, this is the first one. Hopefully of many to come! Since I stared this blog with the title "The Beginning," I'd like to share something that I was wondering about for sometime. Since the beginning of creation is when God created the world, and "all that in them is," and God lives outside of time, where was He before the creation? Ya know, like before the creation of time? I usually tried to answer that question with something along the lines of "well, I shouldn't question that. I should just believe that He was, is, and always will be." which I believe is a naive thing to do. Mm, well I'm definitely gonna ask God that...if I get the chance to. But I honestly believe I will. I hope you will be there too : )
